I'm a pastor, teacher and author, with a deep love for Christ's people and a passion to see them grow in Him. I have a local teaching ministry at Bethel Church, San Jose, and an international ministry, teaching, training and mentoring 90 pastors in Siaya, Kenya, and a radio teaching ministry throughout Africa through Voice of Hope Africa. I've made six trips to do this ministry with the same pastors in Kenya, and I continue to teach them through my video teaching, online: http://pastorbradabley.weebly.com/ Much of this has to do with helping the men and women to understand and practice sound principles of biblical interpretation. I had the great joy of serving as the Senior Pastor at South Hills Community Church in the Almaden Valley of San Jose, CA from 2009-2014. From 2006-2009 I served in various capacities as the Campus Pastor, Director of Student Ministries and Spiritual Formation and Adjunct Professor of New Testament Foundations and Church History at Bethany University, in Scotts Valley, CA. In addition, I was a Major Donor Field Representative for the Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN), ministering to these partners in the San Francisco Bay Area and Hawaii from 2005-2008. I've pastored two small churches, planted one church and served as the Teaching Pastor at a large church. Leading trips to the Holy Land (1999, 2011 & 2014) and The Footsteps of Paul in Greece, Turkey & Rome (2010) has been a particular joy for me -- especially seeing the Bible come alive for the people on those trips. I've had the honor of teaching and training pastors and leaders in Kenya (twice in 2014), India, Belgium, Bangladesh and Taiwan. I received a Master of Divinity at Regent University in 1992 and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics at San Jose State University in 1983. I'm the author of A Heart After God Bible Study Series, with commentaries on Revelation; Romans; Ephesians and Philippians. My wife, Maureen and I have been married since 1983. We both love snorkeling, driving down for the day to Carmel or Monterey, bike-riding and swimming and watching old movies together or most things on Masterpiece Theater.
